When life got in the way of obtaining a four-year degree, Sunny Williams decided to enroll in UT Austin’s Business Management Certificate Program through the Center for Professional Education.
She saw it as an opportunity to acquire and build the core skills every manager needs to effectively lead their staff and run a business.

When Sunny heard about the Business Management Certificate Program at UT Austin's Center for Professional Education, she knew the flexible format and high-quality instructors were the perfect fit for her busy schedule.
Earning the Certificate
Through the eight-course program, Sunny not only developed foundational knowledge and business acumen, but learned how to apply those key principles in the workplace.
The work she put in benefits her, the team she leads, and their company every day.
A Supportive Community
Sunny is now the Property Manager at Bridge at Granada Apartments, and affordable housing community for displaced Austin residents and residents in need.
"It gives me a different kind of satisfaction at the end of the day to know that I helped my community."
