Meet Samiksha
Samiksha Solanki was working as a business analyst at a 3-D printing company called EOS, located in Pflugerville, Texas, when she shifted into a technical project manager role.
As she transitioned into the position, she decided she needed to level up her project management skills and acquire more tools for the job.
"I was looking for more tools and techniques to add on in my skillset."
Follow Samiksha on her Efforts to Upskill

Earning the Certificate
Samiksha enrolled in the course, which took her three months, while simultaneously working on a large project involving multiple teams in global time zones for EOS.
She delivered the project ahead of schedule and on budget.
Reaping the Rewards
As a reward, the company’s CFO gave Samiksha a bonus and her manager is considering creating an entire project management team under her.
"It's a cost that is worth the investment every time. She's just kind of running with it now, and so it's kind of nice to have somebody like that."

Finding the Right Training
After researching programs and attending a webinar, Samiksha suggested the project management program through UT’s Extended Campus to her manager, who sets aside a training budget for his staff annually.
As a trained project manager himself, he evaluated the syllabus and decided it was a fit.
