Nikhil Mahadevan’s background in data and computer science prepared him to fix many technical issues in his chosen field of healthcare.
Despite being an adept problem solver, he discovered that a new perspective would be instrumental in tackling more foundational flaws in our healthcare system.

Finding the Right Program
Like many Americans, Nikhil has witnessed the shortcomings of our healthcare system firsthand. He knew that in order to make an impactful difference, he would need to expand his skill set beyond his technical skills.
Earning the Degree
Nikhil enrolled in the M.A. in Design focused on Health, a program formed through the partnership of Dell Medical School and the School of Design and Creative Technologies. The program empowers students to use human-centered design to reimagine healthcare.
Making a Difference
Since graduating in 2022, Nikhil has worked as a Solutions Architect at Hopscotch Health.
"If I can just push [healthcare] a step forward just a little bit so that other people don't have to go through [the] pains and frustrations, I think that's a valuable addition to the country."
