Meet Jonathan
Jonathan Thomas grew up working for his dad's window tinting company, and always had an entrepreneurial vision for the company. After buying the company from his dad in 2007, he was determined to expand.
As the business grew to employ more people and serve multiple cities, Jonathan saw it as the perfect opportunity to grow as a leader. He felt confident in his business sense, and sought to improve his 'soft skills.'
"Other degree programs don't talk about...the people part of [business] and how to communicate..."

Finding the Right Program
One of Jonathan's personal goals had always been to earn an MBA, but he realized he might need a program that focused more on the people side of his business.
When his wife, who is also his business partner, found the Human Dimensions of Organizations (HDO), he knew it was the perfect fit for what he wanted.
Earning the Degree
During his time as an HDO student, Jonathan learned how to better solve people problems and communicate through the organization.
After two years, Jonathan graduated in 2020 and continued to grow and improve his business using the newly sharpened skills.
Sharing a Vision
From forging better connections with clients and employees, to creating a clear company culture, Jonathan found his footing as a leader. His degree helped him continue to grow his business and serve more Central Texans.
"I learned how to ask the right questions to get everybody to share a bigger vision."
