The College of Education is collaborating with local school districts to meet the State of Texas's teacher shortage with a new teacher residency program. Participants in the Longhorns in Residence program attend UT Austin courses while spending an entire school year in the classroom gaining hands-on teaching experience alongside a teacher mentor.
Program spots are limited and vary based on availability within school districts. Applications open in February. Learn more in an upcoming information session or explore the program on the website.
Join us on campus to learn more about the Evening MBA at Texas McCombs. We will kick off the event with a panel of current students who will answer any questions you have about the student experience.
Your student hosts will then walk you to one of their ongoing MBA classes. Class options are subject to availability, and you will have the opportunity to leave at the first break at 7:30 PM or stay for the whole class until 9:15 PM.
