We are expanding our project management instructor pool to provide project management training to corporate and government clients. If you are a certified PMP with 10 years of project management experience and have a passion for sharing your experience with aspiring project managers who are looking to transition into the project management field or enhancing their skills.

Applications for the Road to Success Scholarship are due on December 2, 2019. Scholarship funds can be used to cover paralegal, project management and data analytics certificates programs offered by the Center for Professional Education.

University Extension Professor Named to Prestigious "Texas Ten" List

Congratulations to Dr. David Hoffman, named to the 2019 Texas Ten, a list of top UT Austin faculty as nominated by alumni. Dr. Hoffman is a faculty member in the university's Department of Molecular Biosciences, and he has been teaching extra sessions of his popular biochemistry course for University Extension for years.

New Scholarship Offered for Summer 2019 Interpreter Programs

The Plan A Foundation has announced a scholarship that will pay the enrollment fee for one student to attend either the Legal Interpreter Certificate Program or the Healthcare Interpreter Certificate Program, during the summer.

In fact, the U.S. Department of Labor projects 18% growth in interpreter and translator jobs through 2026, well above the projected average job growth of 7%.
