Now entering its 25th year, the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards is the most prestigious awards program in the industry. Often called the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives, the program was one of the first of its kind when it debuted in 1994. Congratulations to Dr. David Hoffman, named to the 2019 Texas Ten, a list of top UT Austin faculty as nominated by alumni. Dr. Hoffman is a faculty member in the university's Department of Molecular Biosciences, and he has been teaching extra sessions of his popular biochemistry course for University Extension for years.

We are happy to offer our first career seminar focused on the field of interpretation and translation on the evening of Monday, April 29. The need for professional interpreters is growing. In fact, the U.S. Department of Labor projects 18% growth in interpreter and translator jobs through 2026, well above the projected average job growth of 7%.

Students enrolling in the Spring 2019 Paralegal Certificate Program will have access to a year-long membership in the Austin chapter of the Capital Area Paralegal Association (CAPA). Membership will include access to a mentorship program for paralegals run by the CAPA organization.
